Job Title: Distribution Center Delivery Driver
Reports to: Distribution Center Manager, Distribution Center Assistant Manager
Status: Non-Exempt
*Willing to consider full-time or part-time candidate. If full-time, shifts will include NON-driving duties in addition to deliveries. Shifts will be Monday through Friday day time.
Summary
The Delivery Driver’s primary responsibility is to operate a motor vehicle (van, utility van, automobile, etc.) on public roads and highways to transport product and supplies in a timely manner. Deliveries will be made from the Lewis Drug Distribution Center and other locations to private and public facilities. This person must have a professional demeanor and be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Learn Lewis Drug policies and procedures and perform them daily
- Professionally manage and assist in all scheduled deliveries and new deliveries
- Current and valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to read a map and/or use a GPS device
- Obey all traffic laws and assure self-safety at all times
- Maintain accurate paperwork and logs
- Assist other drivers when needed
- Promote Lewis initiatives and represent Lewis in a positive manner to our patients and communities
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager/Assistant Manager

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required (or in progress)
- Basic math and computer skills
- Must be at least age 18
- Current and valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time
- Work with full range of hands, wrists, and arms (i.e. Ability to pick up and pinch small items with fingers, and seize, hold, grasp or turn objects with hands)
- Ability to lift/move items up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and less than 10 lbs constantly
- Visual requirements include vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction
- Must have depth perception, color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors), and field of vision
- Must have ability to communicate verbally with staff and patients
- Must be able to load and unload vehicles
