Job Title:     Pharmacy Delivery Driver

Reports to:  Chief Pharmacist 

Summary

Operate a motor vehicle (automobile, van, utility van, etc.) on public roads and highways to transport medications, and supplies from Lewis Pharmacies to homes, apartments and some private and public healthcare facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Required to have a valid driver’s license, but not a commercial driver’s license (CDL).
2. Have a positive upbeat attitude and represent Lewis Drug in a professional manner.
3. Assure self safety.
4. Obey traffic laws.
5. Be able to pass the HIPAA Certification test.
6. Maintain accurate logs.
7. Assure that money and checks are accounted for.
8. Assure that money and drugs are secured at all times
9. Load and unload vehicle. 
10. Deliver medications and supplies to private homes, apartments and some healthcare facilities in a timely manor from all Lewis Drug, Lewis Family Drug and Lewis Express locations in Sioux Falls.
11. Assist other drivers when needed on busy days to make deliveries.
